Langston

It has been a while. I have been reading Brooke's blog and thought it was time to write a little. Thing is...I don't have much to say. Really, it has been over a year since I have blogged, but there are so many words that they blend together in an overwhelming silence.

So, I'll start small. I have been reading Langston Hughes and loving it. So, here is one of his poems. Enjoy!


The Dream Keeper

Bring me all of your dreams,
You dreamer,
Bring me all your
Heart melodies
That I may wrap them
In a blue cloud-cloth
Away from the too-rough fingers
Of the world.
